The precise Business Link support vouchers available and what kind of services they cover will vary from time to time and the list below is accurate as of 2nd February 2009: Start-Up Voucher - £130 (inc VAT)This voucher is for individuals who have not yet started their business (Pre-Start) and who have not previously received a Business Link support voucher. Valid uses: this can only be redeemed for advice. Business Advice Voucher - £70 (inc VAT)This voucher is for individuals who have not yet started their business and may have benefited from a Business Link Start-Up Voucher. OR For those businesses who are in their first year of trading and have not previously been in receipt of a Business Link Advice Voucher. Valid uses: as the name implies, this voucher can only be redeemed for advice. Thurrock Business Support Voucher - £500 This can be made available to businesses throughout the Thurrock area (with less than 250 employees) who have been trading more than 1 year and who are suffering significantly as a result of the economic downturn. A meeting with one of the Business Link business advisers will be arranged in order to undertake a “healthcheck” and diagnose any issues and they will work with the business owner(s) to create a strategy for the business and in appropriate cases will issue the voucher.. Valid uses: this voucher can be used for both advice and services such as Internet marketing, training and website design/build and many others.
